Python 2.2 is out.

ActiveState is a little behind with their Windows version, but it’s worth waiting for if you do Python development on Windows.

Tony is a little behind with his precompiled Mac OS X version, but it’s worth waiting for if you use Mac OS X, since it contains lots of useful optional libraries precompiled, like expat for XML processing.

Bruce Eckel: Thinking in Python [via pretty much everyone] About design patterns in Python. Great stuff. For when you finish my book and want to move to more advanced topics. I’m learning a lot by reading it.

Python Cookbook also has many great examples of design patterns, mostly contributed by Alex Martelli.

I’m crazy busy with work for the next few weeks, so updates will be light.
