Yesterday, this weblog was visited by 407 unique visitors (based on IP address, which I realize is not flawless). 76% of the visitors use Windows, 17% use MacOS, and 6% use Linux. 44% use IE5 (Mac or Windows, but not Opera masquerading as IE5), 23% use IE6, 14% use Radio Userland, 9% use Netscape 6 or Mozilla, 3% use Opera, and only 2% use Netscape 4 (praise the diety of your choice — we’re finally getting rid of Netscape 4). 3 people (less than 1%) used Lynx. I bet all 3 of them appreciated the clean design. I wonder if they were blind, or sighted but stuck on text-only consoles, or what. If you use Lynx to read this site (or any other site) on a regular basis, please drop me a line and tell me why.
