This site validates as HTML 4.01 Strict. (Learn why this matters.) Occasionally I will post a new entry that breaks validation (by copying and pasting text with illegal characters or poorly formed URLs); if this happens, I have a script that emails me immediately telling me that the site is now broken. I will not be wasting your bandwidth by putting “Valid HTML” graphics on every page (my site template is less than 13K, including HTML, CSS, and images); whenever you read it, you can just quietly smile knowingly.
