This is probably interesting to no one but me, but over the weekend, without TV or internet access, I found an intact backup of my very first weblog, which once lived at diveintopython.org/mark/. After a quick custom script to put it in a simple plain-text format that Movable Type can import, I have integrated the posts into the diveintomark archives. This means I now have completely integrated archives from 4 different weblogging systems: my own homegrown system, Manila, Greymatter, and now Movable Type. And Movable Type can export to the same plain-text format, so I should be able to move to another system relatively easily in the future.
