Mailman 2.0.9 is out

comp.lang.python.announce: RELEASED Mailman 2.0.9. Version 2.0.9 fixes a race condition that can cause mail to occasionally be lost, among other useful fixes. I recommend anybody running any version of Mailman 2.0.x to upgrade to 2.0.9, the latest stable release.

For those who don’t know, Mailman is an excellent mailing list manager written in Python. Lots of open source projects use it (since it’s GPL-licensed), but also lots of corporations (including Apple’s public mailing lists). To quote Bare Bones Software, “it doesn’t suck.”

More comprehensive information about Mailman can be found at list.org.
