Gah! I’m incredibly glad she’s okay, but what a thing to have to go through!
Comment by Shelley — Friday, April 4, 2003 @ 7:38 pm
I had nearly the same thing happen to me 2 years ago. Someone pulled out in from of me from a bar at 6pm on a February day. Of course, my first thought was to avoid the person by swerving to the shoulder. My mistake. The raod was fine but the shoulder was icy. I hit it and that was all she wrote. Took off a fire hydrant and the jerk never looked back. Thank God for airbags. I was fine, the car essentially totalled due to the computer, eliectircal and two air bag deployed. Oh, and the small college town was without good water pressure for a day.
I never found who did it. Happened too quick. What hit me the most afterward was that I could have ended up in a ditch inured and unconscious instead of drifting downhill for a quarter mile almost into town. Nobody would have knwon any different.
I’m extemely gald to hear she’s fine physically. I hope she eventually recovers emotionally too.

Too many nutballs with cars I say.

Mark, here’s wishing you both well. No-one needs that.

I’m not sure if it’s something in the Starbucks coffee here, but the people drive insanely. I cite the stretch of I-40 between Chapel Hill and Raleigh as one of the most dangerous I’ve driven on.

Glad to hear she’s OK.

Mark,
Very glad to hear Dora is ok, I hope the SOB who did this can be apprehended, but failing that, I am dedicating today’s portion of my negative energy towards he-who-cut-Dora-off-and-ran-her off-the-road-left-her-for-dead-and-sped-off-without-even-slowing-down.

To Dora:
I’m really glad you weren’t killed. You seem to mean a lot to a guy whose talent and opinions I value; from this I infer that you’re one of the good ones.
To the driver who sped off:
HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE.
When my Buddha nature re-asserts itself, it will probably kick your ass.

Mark, Dora, glad both of you are safe. Take it easy this weekend, okay?

Sometimes I’m glad that I don’t have a gun handy. That’d make me act silly.

Bloody hell. Hope she’s okay, and may the fuckwit and his car wake up this morning inexplicably morphed into incredibly tasty cupcakes.

Very glad to hear that she is ok.
Things like this is one the shittiest things that sometimes happen on the roads here.
Take care,

Glad to hear that she’s okay. Hope you can kick back and relax together this Saturday, circumstances notwithstanding.
And if that doesn’t work, you two can always make a nice voodoo doll of that a–hole driver. After all, everyone needs a good pincushion. =,

To the Mofo: Karma will eventually get ya!
Glad to hear she’s fine. Both of you have enough to worry about with the wedding to have something like this fuck your day up. Take care.

I’m all for teleportation, and have been for many years now.
Hopes she’s doing better now, and forgetting about that sad bastard.
