These are very special people.

• Michael and his son Alex, his wife Christine and daughter Sarah
• My Aunt Thelma and Uncle Jim, my father’s brother
• My Uncle Don and Aunt Elizabeth, my mother’s sister
• Joan, a long-time family friend
• My second family, Roger and his wife Judith, their daughters Jill and Rachel, and her son Thomas

Judith gave us heart-shaped rings to keep in our pockets during the ceremony. Christine gave us a gift-wrapped bottle of sparkling cider. And Michael gave us The Grinch Who Stole Christmas in Latin, which is exactly the sort of wedding present I would expect from him. He also typed out and gave me his answers to my timeline questions:

• 1987: Who the hell are you?
• 1988: OK, but you’ll have to juggle your own balls. You’re not touching mine.
• 1989: Why, are you already tired of juggling your own balls?
• 1990: Who the hell is Canadian Brass?
• 1991: Sure, what could be so difficult about that?
• 1992: No problem. Do you think I should mention the nitrogen tri-iodide incident?
• 1993: Sure, but… um… there are no waterbeds involved this time, are there?
• 1996: I moved in with someone, but we’re not dating.
• 1997: OK, we’re dating, but we’re not sleeping together.
• 1998: Sure. Would your parents give me the house when they’re done with it?
• 1998: Well, you take the thing, drape it over the other things, with the stuff on the side, and… oh, hell, just hold the damn stick, will you?
• 1998: OK, OK, so maybe we did sleep together.
• 1999: OK, but don’t go too much further.
• 1999: Sure. What could go wrong?
• 2000: Sure, someone’s got to be. And it’ll make the story that much more interesting for our grandkids.
• 2000: Who the hell is Dora?
• 2001: To North Carolina?! Fuck no.
• 2002: It’d be the highest honor I could have.

   Dude, you aren’t even filling in the img tag attributes in your photo gallery with anything meaningful. All I am finding is:

   So I am guessing that you are including empty attributes for the sake of validity (i guess standards aren’t bs, eh?) but at the same time you are copping-out by not actually filling them out with anything descriptive/meaningful. To me it seems like you are following the “letter of the law” (if you can call HTML recommendations “the law”) but ignoring the “spirit of the law”…eg: perfectly valid yet utterly missing the goal of validity. What gives?

   Alt tags are like the absolute bare minimum you are supposed to provide for accessibility. But then you know that being the author of “Dive Into Accessibility”.
