  1. Meta note: I’m experimenting with the del.icio.us “new job” thingy. Meta-comments welcome.

  2. Ah del.icio.us. Homogenizing the web one site at a time….

As usual, this feature of del.icio.us is underdocumented, unfriendly, and underwhelming. Why can’t I make their tags my tags? We get CSS, but why can’t I shake up the post title, or the types of links posted? Or the frequency of these link posts? I guess hypothetical WordPress or Movable Type plugins can get these jobs done, but for goodness sake, del.icio.us: show us you have some imagination!

At least it’s not calling you wearehugh on your own website.

  4. the atom:summaries suck for del.icio.us “new job” entries. Consider dropping the delicious-tags and possibly delicious-extended from the summary. And the dropping of HTML tags from the summary is a relic from WordPress trying to treat atom:summary as RSS 0.91’s description.
