I hope nobody talks in the hospital.

  1. I like that…a system so good it could run life support systems, while it can be cracked so easily. I guess life isn’t worth much to Microsoft? Heh.

  2. Should Gates be hospitalised, let’s make sure they install Vista on the machines he’ll be connected to.

  3. You really run “Iceweasel”?
(Browser name in windows title bar should have been retired by now)

  4. Could be worse. If they ran your life support system on a Mac, you’d die with a message saying your defibrillator is not authorized because your heart is already being accessed by five other devices.

Meanwhile on the Linux system, you would still be busy recompiling your kernel to add the experimental kidney driver.

  5. I run AMD64 Debian. Firefox is not available for my platform.

  6. No weasels here. I’m enjoying Konqueror at the moment on a laptop I bought last year but have only just liberated from Microsoft’s clutches with Kubuntu. Like most KDE apps it’s a little busy, but it’s not too bad–and on KDE I can move the close, minimize, zoom buttons to the left, so it has the same layout as my Mac. Be nice if I could put the scrollbar on the left, too, like the old NeXT layout, but I guess customizations have to stop somewhere.

Gates, no, who’s he think he’s kidding? He’s getting bad PR right now, but he deserves it if anyone does. Here’s the latest gaffe:
