None of the various distros make it easy enough to buy a Linux box, though. Every distro should (IMHO) have a link to ‘buy a new computer with $DISTRO pre-installed’ which is at least as prominent as their download link. Debian seems to be the only one of the big four which actually does this.

Luis, I could have sworn that Ubuntu.com used to have links to vendors like System 76 (which specializes in selling hardware with Ubuntu pre-installed), but now all I can find is http://www.ubuntu.com/partners which is quite sparse. Perhaps it’s a work in progress.
