  2. I can certainly believe Apple understands the web better than most phone companies. Of course, my coffee mug has a deeper understanding of the web than most phone companies.

  3. At least I believe that Apple isn’t a proponent of the .mobi TLD. Most phone companies are, which shows how little they understand of the web. Not that Apple knows the web inside-out, but they at least know it so much better than the phone companies that they can kick them in the nuts like this and get away with it (and rightfully so).
