Electricity from a coal-burning power plant? Try a push mower :)
I’ve found our similar mower (stupid name though: http://www.enviromower.co.nz/) to be pretty good as long as you remember to cut the grass regularly; if it’s really long or wet then battery life is not great. Otherwise, it’s not bad at all and definitely less hassle than a petrol one.

I had a push mower, and from what I can tell it was a decent push mower. It became so frustrating to use at one point that in mid-mow, I literally hoisted it up over my head and slammed it down into the grass, causing the handle to detach and jump across the yard.
Without breaking stride, I walked directly over to my wife and said, “Obviously, I am going out to buy a real mower.”
And so I did. The End.
Epilogue:
Grass looks great.
