Not sure why I called them “delegates” instead of “electors,” but there it is. Assuming Obama squeaks out a win in NC and McCain squeaks out a win in Missouri, the final count will be 364 to 174, meaning Obama will win by 190. I wasn’t even close.

  1. Alas, I missed the prediction post, but I thought it would be much closer than even 100. Winning by over twice the electors is just… wow. He had the early lead and just never looked back. It was difficult to watch… like a Bengals football game. They win one occasionally.

    “delegates” is correct; the electoral college is composed of delegates from the states.
